Setting Up My Project Life Scrapbook

As promise, I have a post for you all today on my 2015 Project Life album. Over the weekend I took some time to get my album put together. Placing things where I want them and setting up my system for the album. I thought it would be fun to share with you all what I have going on for this 2015 album.

So the album I am using this year is from We Are Memory Keepers, I got the hot pink 12x12 album and I love it! Last year I used another album from this brand expect the color was a very pretty blue. They are very durable and I like them a lot.  The Core Kit I will be using this year is the Maggie Holmes 5th and Frolic Edition. It has beautiful pastel colors and artwork.

This year I will be using a few different styles of pocket pages for my album, Last year I stuck to style A from Becky Higgins and this year I will be using some of that same style along with Recollections variety pack of pocket pages to mix things up a bit.

Monthly Calendar and Seasons/Holidays for 12x12 Monthly Calendar and Seasons/Holidays pocket Inserts

Something new I am doing this year is at the beginning of each month I will have a 12x12 pocket page insert with a calendar for that month and on the back side there will be some scrapbook collage style art to go along with each new season and holidays that are in those months. I think it came out pretty cute. Of course I still need to get 12x12 sheets of paper to put as a background for the 12x12 pocket page insert, so it wont be see through.

On the back of the first intro pocket page to the album I decided that I wanted to make a layout which will be dedicated to sharing what my new years resolutions are for 2015 and writing down what I am looking forward to in this new year.

End of the Month Review

At the end of the month I am also going to have a Month In Review page where I plan to do a little recap and highlights of that particular month.  I think that this will add more of a personal touch to the album. I know in the past that I wanted to try and have two albums going on at once and have one in color and the other in black and white photos only but I think that would be a bit much for me to try and do with how busy and eventful this year is going to be so I think to make it to where I can really stay focused and on top of everything I will be doing only one album. I dream big! haha

My plan is to print out my photos at the end of the month or at least have them printed within the first week of the following month. I really want to try and stay more up to date with my album this year instead of working on months worth of photos at a time.

This year is going to be big for my little family and I can't wait to document it all!
