Wow this weekend has been awesome! Where do I even start!? Haha well the weekend was kicked off on Friday with grabbing some lunch with my husband and then doing laundry, not too much happened on Friday both my husband and myself had to work so we kept things simple.
Saturday was the day I got to see my brother that I havient seen in over 14 years! Man it was so awesome to be able see him and give him a big hug! I also got to meet his fiance, they recently got engaged this past February on Valentines Day, how sweet! She was really nice and easy to talk with. Im so happy for them. My cousin held a barbeque and the family got together and spent the day catching up and having a good time. Later that evening, us adult siblings and cousins headed out to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and walked around, talked, went to the candy shop and loaded up on all sorts of candies and fudge, and went on a roller coaster ride. It was a blast! It felt so nice to be there with my family. After the boardwalk we went to my sister's place and hung out for a bit until I had to call it a night. After a full day of fun I was exhausted!
Sunday morning my husband and I slept in and when we woke up ate some breakfast and started to get our things together, because we had plans to meet up with everyone again and go back to the boardwalk and really have a full day at the beach. This time around my mommy came with us and also my two nieces came too. It was so cute seeing them play in the water and build sand castles and go on rides. One of them is 6 years old and the other one is 2 and half. Such sweeties! First of all when we got to the beach it took us forever and I mean forever to find parking I think we were looking for about 30 to 40 minutes it was ridiculous and a bit frustrating but we made it and the memories that were made was so worth the crazy parking situation. So we played in the waves and laid out in the sun, spent time walking the boardwalk and enjoying each others company. After a full day in the sun and getting all sandy, we went to a really nice Pizza parlor across the street from the boardwalk and ordered pizzas and it was just so much fun! I'm so thankful to have my family and this weekend was awesome!
