I love doves they are so beautiful and I love their little songs. There always seems to be a dove somewhere nearby where ever I go and I can't help but think of God and his love. I think of good luck and happiness. I think of my dad and my grandmothers that passed away. Doves will always put a smile on my face.
2. Volkswagen Bus
This type of car holds so many wonderful childhood memories for me. it's like a flash back to when I was a little girl. My Dad had a Volkswagen Bus for so many years. It looked exactly like the one in the photo above. Anytime I see a Volkswagen Bus, no matter what color it is but especially if it is orange, I get a huge smile. I think of my Dad. I think of sitting on his lap and holding the big steering wheel with my little hands and my Dad would let me think I was driving the car. I remember hearing the sound of the engine from inside my house and how my little brother and I would run to the door screaming DAD'S HOME!!!!! He would walk through the door and give us hugs and kisses and always seem to have some kind of goody with him. Usually his left over lunch chips and a Coke A Cola or he would bring home slurpees! I remember rolling around in the back of the van with no seats and playing in the back with my little brother on car rides. That car was seriously just the best! Even if it did break down quite often! haha
3. Peony Flower
This is my all time favorite flower. Peonies are just so beautiful. They just have this delicate and vintage timeless and very feminine thing about them. I just love seeing and smelling these flowers!
4. PureMoods and Fleetwood Mac
My mom got this cd called PureMoods back in the 90's and seriously I remember it playing all the time when I was little girl and to this day it is one of my favorite cd's. I think of my mom and remember playing in the living room or out in the back yard while this cd was playing. Another cd that to me always seemed to be playing was Fleetwood Mac Tango In The Night. This too reminds me of both my parents and my childhood, warm summer days out in the back yard, my mom gardening and me getting lost in the super tall flowers that peeked up from the cracks in the ground.
I have like this little obsession with all things Alice In Wonderland. I love seeing all the different illustrations and creative arts and crafts. It is one of my favorite books and I when I turned 21 my Mom, Dad, sister and myself threw a Alice In Wonderland birthday party. It was so much fun. We made all kinds of things. There were so many lovely crafts and drawings and cute little details. It was just awesome!
