Weekly: Short and Sweet

It's Friday, and also the day after Christmas! The last two days have been very eventful and this week has been a great one! I am on my winter break from work and I am so happy! Yesterday my niece and nephews woke up and ran to the Christmas tree.
You could see the magic and excitement in their eyes. They were so happy and found the plate of cookies we left out for Santa to be gone! They really got a good laugh at the evidence that Santa came, by leaving a half eaten cookie on the plate. I just love watching them digging through their stockings and ripping through the wrapping paper. The kids really did have a great Christmas this year and so did us adults. It was a good one!

Right now it is all about creating memories for the little ones so that they have wonderful memories and good feelings about the holidays and the magic and warmth they have. I am happy that I can be apart of that. It really is a special thing to be an Auntie!

Later that evening my husband and I took off by ourselves and went out to dinner at Denny's. Just a little something to do alone and get some quiet time with each other. We both got breakfast items for dinner. I don't know about you, but I always get breakfast when I go to Denny's I love eating pancakes with eggs, sausage, and hash-browns! Yum!

This week has been focused around the holidays and up next is my birthday this Sunday, and then New Years! 2014 is almost to an end! It has been a good year!

Snapshots From This Week:
1. Elias on Christmas morning showing the half eaten cookie that Santa left behind!
2. Getting everything together on Christmas Eve for the stockings
3. My little brother and I on Christmas Eve
4. Presents all wrapped and placed under the tree and stocking all ready on Christmas Eve
5. My husband putting together a Ninja Turtle toy for our nephew

Inspiring Me This Week: All things Christmas related. I  have been trying to make sure I got everything as perfect as I could to make sure that my niece and nephews would have a great Christmas. They are getting older and to the point where they will be remembering the holidays better throughout the years. I think it was very successful!

3 Things About Yours Truly:
* I love to eat the chocolate shaped Santa Claus candy bars that come out during the holidays
* I spent a good amount of time this week watching Cupcake Wars
* My birthday is this Sunday! The big 25!
