Weekend Recap: The Nutcracker Ballet and Christmas In The Park

Good Morning!

Happy Monday, I just have to say that I had a super fun and eventful weekend. On Saturday, my
husband and I went to see The Nutcracker Ballet at the San Jose Center For Performing Arts. The show was amazing and so beautiful. I was living out a childhood dream attending this performance. It was so magical and such a great experience. We were not allowed to take photos during the show but the stage props and design was crazy cool. The effects that were used really added that enchantment feel to the story.

After the Ballet, we took a stroll through Christmas In The Park, it is a tradition that Down Town San Jose does every year. most all the props are the same exact ones from when I was a little girl and it is always so much fun to see it every year. It is basically the North Pole, and you can meet Santa Claus, and look at all the decorated trees and buy hot chocolate, go on rides, and snack on treats. There is even an ice skating rink. It is a lot of fun and even more so for the kids.

We made our rounds through the park and looking at the displays, and then made a lunch stop at Johnny Rockets, it was our first time actually sitting down in this restaurant and eating there. It was pretty good, and had a 50's feel inside the restaurant.

When we made it back home, we watched a few movies and went to bed super late. It was an awesome, great day!

On Sunday, we slept in, then woke up and I did a little cleaning and some laundry. The rest of the day we spent together at home, watching movies, and shows on Netflix.

Later today, the hubby and I will be attending an early showing of the new movie Into The Woods, which is schedule to be in theaters on Christmas day, but I have an early showing voucher, that allows two people to attend for free, so that is something that I am looking forward to! It is a about fairy tales, and we all know I love fairy tales! Cant wait!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
