My favorite Past Time Vacations

Day Seven Prompt: Best / Worst Vacation #Blogtober14

I don't think I have ever been on a bad vacation before and I hope I never do. Looking back at all the vacations I have taken as a child and as an adult I would have to say I have about 4 favorites!

When I was a little girl my parents always took us camping. We would go sometimes for one night and sometimes for weeks on end! I remember one time in particular my parents even pulled us out of school so we could go on this really long camping trip. This camping trip was awesome! We went to a couple different camping sites and would just hop around from camp site to camp site and in different cites too. It was so much fun I remember, during this camping trip we even stopped at the beach and we would go fishing, and get spoiled with slush puppies! My parents always made out camping trips a blast. Thank you mom and dad!

Another vacation that is on my favorite list is when we spent nine days in Yosemite, and spent the nights in Yurts. My whole family came, My grandparent, brothers and sister, aunts, uncles and cousins. We went on hiking trails and us kids lounged in the hot tub. I'm not sure exactly what month we were in when we went there but it was nice weather but it even rained at some point and the mornings were pretty cold. Yosemite is so beautiful we got to explore the national park and see so many waterfalls. I love nature and it was just so awesome! I even found a 4 leaf clover! There were wild animals, laughter, and delicious barbecues.

As and adult, and this might sound cliche but my favorite vacation would have to be my honeymoon. We spent our honeymoon in Scotts Valley and stayed in a beautiful hotel. We explore all of Monterrey and Santa Cruz. We ate at new places, and tired new things It was really special. And my husband and I give a special thanks to my cousins and my aunt and uncle for providing us with this very memorable honeymoon!

Another vacation that was a blast was when my husband and I, along with my sister and her fiance went us to Tahoe and rented a hotel for the weekend. It was my first time in the snow and we went up there to celebrate my birthday and New Years Eve. We ate a cute restaurants and a snowflake landed on my coat! It was magical!
