This would have to be my favorite photo on Instagram. This picture was taken last Christmas of 2013. We were newlyweds, only married for 6 months when this picture was taken. We had our first place together and it was our first family photo taken together on one of my favorite days of the year.
This picture is special to me because it has my husband who I love deeply and my sweet baby boy Apollo. We have had this pup since he was only six weeks old. So to my husband and I he is like our only child. haha. We love this dog!
This photo captures the excitement of spending our first Christmas together as a married couple and being in our very first place, with our first christmas tree to share with only the two of us and of course Apollo.
Waking up that morning was so much fun, my husband and I opened up the presents we had put under the tree for each other and it was just a really sweet and memorable first Christmas morning being newlyweds. We made breakfast together and may I just say I love cooking side by side with this man. He sure knows how to cook, way better than me too might I add! That whole day was special. We spent the entire day with only each other. We did this on purpose, so that we could fully take in the holiday and celebrate being married and making traditions with one another. I am excited to see how this Christmas will be, even if we are living back with family, I'll be sure to snap another photo of the three of us on Christmas morning.
