Today it rained! I was so excited to wake up to the sound of rain hitting the roof of the house. It has not rained in my area of California for such a long time. The earth really did need it. Sadly the rain stopped sometime in the afternoon but the overcast sky is lingering around for a bit. I just want it to rain and rain all day! When I took a walk after the rain has stopped, I could smell the sweet earth and all the fragrances of the flowers. I simply just loved it! It was a good rain day even though it wasint all day.
The hubby and I have our back door open and the cool air feels so nice. We went to the store and picked up some pizzas and ice cream. We plan to have a watch movies all evening on Netflix. It has been a good day!
So happy the weekend is almost here!
