My Hair Care Routine

The way I care for my hair has changed a lot throughout the years, and usually when I find a hair care regimen that works I tend to stick with it for a really long time. I tend to be a creature of habit but I do at times like to switch it up here and there. So the basics of my hair care is shampoo, conditioner, oil/hair serum, and leave in conditioner. I do also keep a heat protectant around but I hardly put heat to my hair these day, but its good to have it if I need to get all dolled up for an event. I'm currently trying to grow my hair out and my hair has become so much healthier since I stopped blow drying or straightening it. Here are the products I use and love!

Shampoo: Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo
I love this shampoo, and I have been a faithful user of this stuff for over 2 years now, along with the conditioner. It seriously smells like you can eat it and it cleans my hair without over drying it, which for me is so important not to dry out my hair as my hair is currently growing out my natural hair color with an ombre effect from when I use to rock the platinum look.

Joico Color Endure Violet Shampoo
I use this purple shampoo twice a month just to keep my platinum blonde ends free from yellow and brassy tones, which can happen when you have bleached hair. I keep this in my hair for about 3 minutes and then wash it out. It works really good! After using this I'll use a deep conditioning treatment to add back some moisture to my hair. I have tried other purple shampoo's in the past but this one is my favorite, it smells nice, and it really freshens up my blonde hair color. It also doesn't dry out my hair like other purple shampoo has done in the past. I would definitely recommend this as a good toning shampoo.

Conditioner: Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner
Love, love,love this conditioner! It has done wonders for my hair and I truly believe that with the combination of the Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner my hair has become stronger, healthier, softer, and so much more manageable. Love this stuff! Oh and just like the shampoo this stuff smells even more yummy! Seriously its the best!

Hair Mask Treatment: it's a 10 Miracle Hair Treatment
Now this stuff works great! More like amazing, I use this once a week as a hair treatment and it leaves my hair smelling and feeling fresh and moisturized. This product is awesome here is what the micicle mask claims to do and with me using it I can say it definitely does everything on this list!

So when I get out of the shower I'll ring out the left over water from my hair and then lightly dry my hair with my towel I try to make sure that I don't start scrubbing my head with the towel to dry my hair because I find that doing that causes hair breakage, due to the hair being in it's most fragile state when its wet. So I'll leave my hair rolled up in a towel for a few minutes and then remove the towel and lightly dab my hair with the towel and then proceed with the next 3 products.

Hair Cream: Giovanni 2Chic Brazilian Keratin & Argan Oil Ultra Sleek Leave In Conditioner & Styling Elixir
 I know, dang this product has a long name haha but I really like this stuff it helps bring strength back into my hair an helps eliminate frizz and does a pretty nice job at conditioning my hair. It  has an okay scent to it, but I'm not quite sure how to describe the scent, But I do know that its is plant based.

it's a 10 Leave In Hair Product
Again the it's a 10 hair care line is pretty awesome, I spray this into my hair and immediately it starts doing wonders for my hair. It has a clean scent and this leave in product does a lot!

Hair Oil/Serum: Organix Renewing Argon oil Of Morocco
This oil is very lovely and I actually like all the oils from this brand. This oil is go fine and brittle hair, I have a lot of thick hair but still it has been bleached a ton of times and this helps with giving back some tender love and care to my strands.

Heat Protectant: Loreal Smooth Intense Xtreme Straight Creme
So if I need to use heat on my hair its most likely going to be my strengthener. I like to use this one because it will leave my hair straight for a good couple of days. It's a heavy cream that leaves your hair feeling very smooth and light weight after applying heat.

And that's it! That is everything I use in my hair care routine, and I wash my hair every other day. Since using this regimen my hair has been kinder to me and Im pretty happy and content with it.
