Friday, was so much fun! Randall and I went out to lunch and got some wings from Wing Stop, and went to the mall and looked around. We went home with some strawberry banana smoothies from Orange Julius. We weren't too sure what we were going to do for the rest of the evening, but seeing as it was date night we thought we would head to the beach and see Blind Melon. During the summer time, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has free concerts on Friday nights so we did just that! When we got there we met up with my cousin and her husband and walked around the boardwalk. Randall and I had to make a stop at the candy shop and get some more chocolate fudge! Afterwards, we ended up not really watching the concert but just heard it from a far and then decided to grab some dinner. We went to a restaurant called Burger. It was a charming place and they had all sorts of different types of hamburgers with really cool names. It was a good time!
Saturday, Randall and I didn't really do much. He had to work and I stayed at home. It was just a simple kind of day. During the evening when the hubby went to sleep I stayed up late talking with some family and ate a bowl of ice cream at 1:30 in the morning! What can I say I had a need for something sweet and chocolatey.
Sunday, another day of staying at home and taking it easy. The husband had to work and when he got home we made ourselves some lunch. Later in the evening we spoiled ourselves with some starbucks and went back home and waited for dinner. Haha we love to eat. And for dinner my husband's grandfather barbecued some ribs and it was delicious! The day was very relaxed and spent with eachother and family. I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
