Saturday, we went to my sister's house for dinner. It was a good time. I was also able to see my little brother. I miss that kid, haha well he is not really a kid he is only a year and a half younger than me but no matter how old he is and how much taller he is than me, he will always be my little brother. I see my daddy in him every time I see him. Me and my sister got to talk about what I would like to do for my 25th birthday that is coming up this year. It's not until the end of December but I am giving myself time to really plan and do something fun! So far we have brainstormed renting a cabin in Tahoe or going to Disney Land. We shall see. Im glad I have enough time to think of something. My sister and I love planning parties and Im glad she is down to figiure something out with me. Dinner was so good. Her fiance really knows how to cook! We did a potluck style dinner and it was a great night.
Sunday, was Father's Day and for me it is somewhat of a sad day. I miss my daddy so much and I get sad that I cant spend Father's Day with him anymore. I know he is in a better place. I think that Father's day will start to feel less sad to me when my husband becomes a father and that day can be celebrated again. I'm really excited to see my husband become a father. I know its not for a long while but I imagine and I know he will do a great job! Even though my Dad has passed I still on Father's Day can appreciate what a great dad he was to me and my brothers and sisters. He did so much for us and I always felt loved and secured with him. It might seem strange but even with him not being here anymore I still feel his love, and his presence in my life, I know he is watching me from heaven and everyday I thank the lord for blessing me with a dad who made my childhood so rich precious.
