Update: Getting Heathly Regimen and Weight Loss
I am so happy to say that I have lost 4 pounds since I started my little weight loss regimen. I am far from perfect and I have had really good days and bad days when sticking to my plan, sometimes I don't exercise has much as I intended to but I have been keeping on top of watching my portions and making sure that I eat breakfast every morning. I could do better when it comes to drinking water, however I do give myself some points for drinking more water than I use to. I'm finding it a bit difficult to drink the 8 eight ounce glasses of water in one day. Seeing the scale going down in numbers is so encouraging. I just need to keep up the work and give myself an extra little push. I'm happy with my results as of now and I'm excited to keep pushing through this journey and get to my goal! Here is what Ive learned since starting my regimen:
*eating breakfast in the morning can make all the difference in how you feel throughout the day. Its a great way to fuel your body and I like to think of as if by eating a good breakfast you are setting up a foundation for how you will eat throughout the rest of the day.
*indulge in something your craving every once in a while, just eat things in moderation. Sometimes I really want some chocolate and I allow myself to have some. I make a point to not eat the whole thing but to just get the taste and save the rest for another time
*keeping a food journal is a great tool to use when trying shape up. It can be an eye opener and hold you accountable for what you put in your body.
*forgive yourself when you have a not so good day. Whether your didn't get a chance to workout or you ate horribly that day, we are all human, just be gentle with yourself and try again! Never give up and push yourself to start up again and stay positive!
