What a weekend. There was quite a bit that happened the past 3 days. On Friday I somehow caught a cold and it was the worst! I wasn't even sure if I was going to be able to follow through with the plans I had for Saturday but lucky me, I somehow recovered. For a day haha which was Saturday so my husband and I along with my sister in law and cousin went to a show in Santa Cruz. It was so much fun. We saw Circle Takes The Square. My husband is a huge fan and the last time they played in a location near us was 5 years ago. And we weren't able to make it that time. So he was so super excited! Like a little kid on Christmas morning. He even got a chance to talk to the singer and it seriously made his night. I love seeing him so excited like that. I bought him a sweater and a t shirt from the merch table and he is so stoked about it. My husband works really hard for our family and I'm so glad he was able to get out of work and have a good time.
On Sunday guess what came back? My cold! Not has bad as it was on Friday but a sore throat is definitely not fun. So I planned to stay home all day but needed to run out and do some laundry and just when we got down the hill my car got a flat tire! I'm so glad my husband knows how to change a tire and man did he look so good doing it! Oh those arm muscles of his! Haha so because of the flat tire we needed up going to get all 4 replaced and that took forever. While we were waiting we walked to the closet food place which happens to be Popeyes Chicken. And let me just say... I will never return there. The food was far from good and the employees there were not very friendly and the bathroom.. well it was... not good. Haha so the day turned into a mini adventure but memories were made out of it and when we got home my husband and I just relaxed and called it a day. We watched a couple of shows and turned in early for the night. Now it's back to a full work week. My mini vacation is over and I just got got to get through this week of double shifts and then I'll only be working one job and in the mornings. Yay!
