Plans For Christmas
This morning I awoke to the sound of my husband's voice. What a true blessing that is, to have him to share my life with. He works so hard for our family, and I greatly appreciate all that he does. Today I got the perfect gift for my mom, she is an artist so I got her a set of water color paints, paper and brushes that are deigned to go with water color specifically. I think she is going to love it! As for the christmas festivities this year we have a lot of family to see when it comes time for the holidays. I think it's important to schedule in alone time with the hubby during the these busy months. Being newly married, we find that our time is greatly requested around the holidays. On both sides of our family, it's definitely a balancing act. With so many people to see and places to be all within two days, we want to have a full day where we can just be together. For us this year we are going to take christmas day for just the two of us. After all this is our first christmas being married and we only get one "first" I have been thinking of things we can do to celebrate together. Seeing as most things are closed that day, perhaps making a special breakfast and dinner at home for two would do just the right trick. Add some classic christmas movies, hot chocolate, and a lot of snuggles, makes for a perfect day. Pinterest is full of ideas! I especially like this idea here it's a journal that you write in once a year to record christmas memories. It has questions to answer with fill in the blanks to help describe the day. So fun! This is my favorite time of year! I want to keep making it more and more special every year
