Yesterday the hubby and I went on a mini date. It was so nice to be able to just spend some time together. We both have been working a lot these past few weeks and at times it seems we are just too tired to even cook dinner. We went out for burgers and milkshakes, we like the simple things in life. haha. After that we went on a mission to find s See's Candy store and bought some chocolates. It was a lovely time. Today is our niece's birthday, she turned two and we will be enjoying the company of family tonight with birthday cake. I get the next four days off so I plan to enjoy the lazy mornings and have a relaxing weekend. It feels sorta strange to finish a work week on a Wednesday. However I do like it. :)
