Back To Work

Work for me is now in full swing, back to providing love an care for an adorable 2 year old little girl. I have been having a lot of fun with planning projects and curriculum for the fall. I used to work at a preschool and when I moved in with my husband (boyfriend at the time) I needed to find work that was much closer to home and I found the loveliest family who needed a nanny to care for their little girl. As a perk coming from a teaching background, I provide care and create a fun learning environment for a sweet little girl who is excited to learn! Teaching and working with young children is so rewarding and I have so much fun doing it. When I was in high school I started taking college night classes to get a jump start in early childhood education so that I could work with kids. It was a huge milestone for me when I landed my first teaching job as a lead teacher in a preschool at the age of twenty. I worked with the two's and three's and I knew that this is my career passion. I also enjoy interior decorating and thought about going to school for that at one point but I came to a conclusion that as much fun and excitement I get from interior decorating I get just as much satisfaction with doing that for family, friends, and myself and I see working with young children as a more rewarding and always needed path. At the preschool I had my very own classroom and was able to decorate it and that was a lot of fun and challenged and inspired me as a little for fun interior decorator to decorate a room for young children rather than adults. There are so many joys in life, I'm so happy that we as people can choose to love doing many different types of things for recreational fun or for work.
