Little Bird: First Week of Wedding Bliss

I have been married for a week! Returning from our honeymoon we have been in full nesting mode the husband and I, decided to paint our entire room a blueish, purple, color. We have been talking about giving our room a little makeover, and with this new chapter in our life we wanted to create a more relaxing environment in the bedroom. So we went to our local Home Depot bought some paint and some brushes and went right to work. The hubby did most of it haha, I then went to the store to get some new curtains for the room and to gather some ideas to decorate our new space. We love the color on the walls and are happy we decided to do this project. Our honeymoon was so much fun! We stayed in Santa Cruz California which is about 45 minutes away from home. We stayed in two different hotels and both were lovely. We tried many different places to eat and found some really good places that we plan to return to in the future. By far the best two places we went to was Sly Mcflys Refueling Station in Monterrey and Shadowbrook Restaurant in Santa Cruz. Over the course of the next few months we plan to purchase the remaining items off of our registry. Specifically our dinnerware and utensils. I love being married! I love my life!
