A Vintage Wedding

We are having a vintage inspired wedding. When I first got engaged I knew immediately that I wanted a romantic and beautiful setting. In my opinion when a girl starts planning her wedding she wants her wedding day to express her personality and her own personal style. This was definitely the case with me. Our wedding colors are white,lilac, and a eggplant purple. As I mentioned in a earlier post my mom made most of our wedding decorations. She handmade mine and all my bridesmaids flower bouquets along with all the boutonnieres and corsages, pier bows,decorations and drapes for the wedding arch. She arrange all the floral arraignments and made my veil. She even made cute wedding signs for our dessert buffet. My mom is an amazing strong and creative woman. I'm so blessed and thankful for all her help and support. My aunt made all our favors, they are handmade crochet vintage drawstring pouches that will be filled with the traditional white covered almonds inside, wrapped with lilac tulle. They are very pretty and are a classic keepsake. Today was another productive day, we made our last payment on our table linens and dinnerware. My fiance and I got our wedding license yay! While we were walking into the building I felt butterflies! We were so excited. It feels wonderful that things are all coming together.
